We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Myma Albayda has assumed the role of fellowship program director for the Division of Rheumatology. Dr. Albayda completed her Rheumatology training at Johns Hopkins and has since developed a national and international reputation for her expertise in myositis, inflammatory arthritis and the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for the assessment of rheumatic diseases.
Since joining the rheumatology faculty in 2013, Dr. Albayda has already had a profound impact on the Division and its fellowship program. She has been engaged in curriculum development and in educating trainees in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Further, she has provided critical insight as a member of the program’s core faculty and clinical competency committee. She is highly sought after as a clinician educator by trainees at all levels, and our current fellows unanimously and enthusiastically recommended her for the program director role. We look forward to seeing her take our training program to new heights!
