As part of the Johns Hopkins University we firmly believe in the value of knowledge. Understanding the bases of flow cytometry is essential for devising experiments to answer biological questions. Our Facility offers a different variety of theoretical and practical courses that can guide the trainee from introductory to advanced level. We also offer specific courses to become autonomous in the operation of the FACSAria. Each course pathway is shaped on the trainee background, technical skill and projects in mind. Therefore, most of the trainings are one-to-one, but it is also possible schedule sessions with focused groups. After the training, as courtesy, we will be always available for advice on the experiment design and for assistance with the instrumentations.
